Our vision is rooted in the Great Commission and the promise of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus commanded His disciples, we are called to be witnesses, starting from our own community and extending to the ends of the earth.
"...and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised, but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

This vision drives everything we do at the Diocese of Lagos South West. We believe that the gospel message must first take root in our own hearts and communities before we can effectively share it with others. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to be faithful witnesses, transforming lives and communities with the love and truth of Christ.
