Our Mission
Our mission outlines how we intend to fulfill our vision of taking the gospel to all the world, beginning from us. We are committed to four key areas of ministry:
1. Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ
Through rigorous evangelism and strategic church planting, we seek to spread the light of the gospel to every corner of our diocese and beyond.
"For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth."
— Acts 13:47
References: Luke 4:18; Acts 13:47
2. Aggressive Discipleship
Through structured Bible study, scriptural education, and fervent prayer, we are committed to making disciples who are mature in Christ and equipped for every good work.
"Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus..."
— Colossians 1:28-29
References: Galatians 4:19; Ephesians 4:13; Colossians 1:28-29
3. Growing and Empowering Church Sub-Groups
We are committed to helping every member of our church family—Children, Youth, Men, Women, Elderly, and Professionals—discover their God-given gifts and maximize them for the benefit of others at home, at work, and in the world.
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them...in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good."
— 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (NIV)
References: Matthew 25:34-40; Galatians 5:13; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7
4. Engagement with Government at All Levels
We believe in active engagement with government at all levels to ensure that social and political programs are guided and harnessed for the benefit of our people in all communities within our Diocese.
"Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."
— Jeremiah 29:7 (NIV)
