Diocese of Lagos South West Announces Maiden Diocesan Vigil 2026 — “A Night of Divine Encounter”

The Diocese of Lagos South West (Anglican Communion) has officially announced its Maiden Diocesan Vigil 2026, themed Transformation, inspired by 2 Corinthians 3:18. The highly anticipated night of spiritual encounter will hold on Friday, 20th February 2026 at 10:00 PM at St James Anglican Church, Amuwo Odofin.

The vigil, titled “A Night of Divine Encounter,” is designed to gather worshippers from across the Diocese for a prolonged time of prayer, worship, and impartation. The Diocesan Bishop, The Rt. Rev’d Dr. Ebenezer Ajayi Adewole, will be ministering alongside other anointed servants of God.

The event aims to lead believers into a deeper experience of God’s transforming power, encouraging participants to come with faith, expectation, and readiness for spiritual renewal.

The Diocese calls on all members and the wider Christian community to attend and encounter the transforming presence of God in a night dedicated to prayer and divine visitation.
