Highlights of Bishop’s Message at the Ongoing Pre-Lent Retreat, Christ Church Ado-Soba

The ongoing Pre-Lent Retreat at Christ Church Ado-Soba continues to bless worshippers with moments of prayer, reflection, and spiritual awakening. During one of the retreat sessions, the Diocesan Bishop delivered a deeply impactful message centered on the theme of Transformation, drawing from Exodus 34:28–30 and 2 Corinthians 3:18.
In his exhortation, the Bishop emphasized that true intimacy with Jesus produces visible evidence in a believer’s life. He noted that when prayer is genuine and rightly aligned with God, its fruits will naturally be seen by others. Congregants were encouraged to allow God reveal their true spiritual state and to consciously take steps toward personal transformation.
The message further highlighted four key areas where transformation must take place in the life of every Christian:
1. Transformation of our thoughts
2. Transformation of our prayer lives
3. Transformation of our study lives
4. Transformation of our leadership style
The session ended with renewed commitment among attendees to pursue deeper fellowship with Christ and to live out a transformed life as a reflection of God’s glory.
